Unity Picnic

Unity Picnic in the Park

Did you know Lewes for Palestine started a year ago?

To mark the occasion and to honour our community, Lewes for Palestine are holding a unity picnic with Lewes Stand Up to Racism.

  • Live music

  • Bring a bite to eat or a dish to share

  • Family-friendly picnic

  • Community connection

Sunday 30 August
Southover Grange Gardens, Lewes
From 2:30 PM (weather permitting)

Bring a bite to eat or a dish to share with everyone!

We’ll also be joined by the Tom Paine sponsored walk at around 5:00 PM. You can support the walk here https://chuffed.org/project/tompainewalk2026

Parking: Public parking is free on a Sunday. The nearest car park in on Mountfield Road (Lewes Football Club) and limited street parking is available along Southover Rd next to Southover Grange Gardens. If possible, consider walking, cycling or using public transport.

Come along, meet friends old and new, and enjoy a day of community, music and good food
