Together Alliance
On 28th March 2026, members of Lewes District Anti-Racism Alliance (LDARA) joined hundreds of thousands of others in London to march against the far right. Organised by the Together Alliance, the march was an inspiring show of unity and the biggest antiracist demonstration in the UK for decades.
Together Alliance is made up of many unions, charities, community organisations and individuals, all of whom came out on the streets to call for solidarity, hope and unity and to reject division and racism.
Speakers including Dianne Abbott, Jeremy Corbyn, Billy Bragg, Zack Polanski and Hannah Spencer made impassioned speeches, bringing home the message that solidarity is our strength and division our enemy.
The Together Alliance aims to challenge far right narratives, mobilise support for a fairer more democratic society and work for stronger, more confident communities that stand together against racism, misogyny, authoritarianism and division. Lewes District Anti-Racism Alliance is a signatory to the Alliance and supports local initiatives that work towards these aims.
